Since 2009, this feed has never let our pack down
I have fed TotW since around 2009, to multiple dogs now. The first dog that has spent her whole life on TotW is now almost 16yrs old, and clocking in at about 100lb as a GSD x Husky, that is a very long life indeed. When Sisu started on it at 6wk old, TotW didn't offer a puppy formula, at least not.in our rural area, but claimed to be an All Life Stages recipe. Sisu has maintained excellent health for all these years. Yes, her hips are weaker and arthritic now, but she is years past her life expectancy. Her bones and joints have been strong for all these years as a skijoring dog to boot. Other dogs we've fed TotW have also lived long past their life expectancy, and in great health. Not once in all these years have we had a single problem feeding 6 different dogs some TotW formula. Even a small breed Yorkie x Shih tzu has done great. We do, admittedly, supplement glucosamine chondroitin to all our large breed dogs for much of their lives, but TotW has always been the bulk of their feed. More recently we have a now 6yr old GSD x malamute, our first pup raised on the puppy formula, who hates fish in any form. We used to feed the salmon (both grain free, and ancient grains after some of the concerning health issues arose with grain free diets) but he absolutely hates the stuff, whether scraped from our own plates freshly from the oven or in his kibble, so we have since switched to the Bison formula. I love the protein content in this feed, BTW. Its awesome. As to the grain vs no grain question: as I said, for years we fed grain free to the dogs. Never had a single issue with their health beyond natural aging. When we initially started on TotW, my dog (now passed) had sensitive skin, and he wasn't the first. We tried grain free and it tool care of almost all his issues quickly. When we later adopted a puppy with terrible hot spots, they healed within a few weeks and never returned once we got him on TotW. Correlation is, of course, not causation and this is quite anecdotal, but it worked for us. Fortunately, the switch to ancient grains formulas made no difference in the dog's skin sensitivities whatsoever. No new hotspots or rashes, so we have stuck with this Bison formula for about 5 years now. Every single dog has outlived their average lifespan by at least 3 years. Every single one. And all have had active and fulfilling lives with only visits to the vet for annual shots, nothing more. So long as TotW can keep their prices reasonable and the quality of their feed as good as it has been all these years, then we are lifers. Once or twice I might try a new feed out on the dogs, and they would literally pick around the new kibbles to get the TotW mixed in. So this is it for our pack. We just got a new GSD puppy, 9wks old now, and she did the same to the feed the breeder had her on, choosing TotW over her old kibble every time. I don't know what you are doing here at TotW, but you are doing it right.

Not sure why you'd put chicken in this.
My dog has been on the Lamb version of this food (with and without grains) on and off for 10 years. Recently, there has been a shortage of lamb foods (across all brands) in my city. I was silly to assume I could just grab this food without reading the label (after having trust in this brand for so long) - and think that this food did not contain chicken meal. It wasn't until my dog was pooping blood that I finally looked at the ingredients. A dumb mistake on my part, but disappointed that there is more chicken meal than bison or venison in this food. I would pay more for better quality if that were an option. Please consider.

Rescue Aussie LOVES this!!
We have a very picky rescue aussie who was struggling to put on weight. This food absolutely changed her mind and she is at an ideal weight for her size and age. She is normally super picky but loves this food more than anything. Cant even switch flavors cause she likes it so much!

Sad change of ingredients
My dog has been eating this stuff for 4 years…. I bought a new bag a few days ago.. first off the packaging is a lighter yellow and the kibbles are lighter than the original…. And now my dog has had the constant runs…. Time to change I guess
