Change in kibble look
My rescue dog with colitis issues has been on this diet for 5 years. She was never a great eater taking a full meal every 3 days or so but this last bag I received has a different look, the kibble is smaller in depth more disc like than square sided. For some reason she loves this new look food so something drastic has changed with the production. I am only noting this difference in food ( not complaining) because I am very aware of her eating habits.

Love this
My 2.5-year-old Cavapoo has been struggling with IBS, both constipation and diarrhea. After many visits to the emergency vet and her regular vet, we’ve run a variety of tests. I’ve also been home-cooking her meals—rice, chicken, and some veggies. Eventually, I decided to switch her food, and since then, she’s been eating well and her IBS symptoms have improved significantly. I now give her a combination of dry and wet food, along with treats

New formula… bad choice Hills!
Terrible formulation change. My dog has IBD and did great in the old formula. He loved the food from the start and his gut started to heal. Now with the new formula kibble is smaller, and my dog doesn’t even want to finish a bowl. He seems to now like it. Kibble color has also changed. Worst off my dog instantly went back to bloody, mucous stool right away. Why change a food like this that is made to treat a dog with medical conditions with no warning. Now I’m on the hunt for a food for my dog that already had trouble adjusting to any foods in the past. Thanks Hills!

ID Biome was the answer
My dog is 10 years old, I got him when he was a year old. He has had bouts of diarrhea every 3 days for the past 9 years. My original vet moved him to z/d formula 4 years ago, which moved the bouts to once a week. I moved to Texas a year ago and my new vet recommended ID Biome mixed 1/2 with the z/d. Within one day we went from soft poop to normal poop and we no longer have bouts anymore. This food is absolutely perfect for Jamie.

Finally healthy
Our puppy finally has hard stools! We didn’t think it would ever happen. He’s had diarrhea for over 2 months. This food turned it all around.

Something changed with this kibble, and not for the better.
Loved this kibble for over 8 years. Opening a fresh bag the aroma was excellent. The kibble was light brown. Definitely 5 stars. Lately I'm experiencing the total opposite, and that's why I'm now giving it 2 stars. When I opened the last 2 bags, that wonderful aroma was gone. The kibble was a darker brown. My pup is reluctant to eat it. What happened?? I called the company, and they basically said they will look into it. Something changed. If I can smell and see the difference, my pup surely can, and she's not liking it anymore.

Kibble too Hard
Vet prescribed this for my 12 yr old rescue dog who had horrible stomach issues after surgery. It almost immediately stopped the horrible diarrhea and stomach bleeding. However, my dog has few teeth left (was in horrible condition when rescued as a stray) and this kibble size is ok but HARD AS A ROCK. She has a hard time breaking them up to eat and I'm afraid she will break a tooth. I tried soaking in water which works but 1 cup of food takes 1 cup of water and 2 hours to soak to make it soft. I tried breaking it up in a Vitamix blender and it couldn't do anything to it. Vet suggest I look for similar food but in small bites. Maybe Adult Sensitive Stomach & Sensitive Skin Small Bites?

Helped My Puppy
Our puppy had digestive issues since we brought her home. We did bloodwork and tested for parasites but everything was negative. We decided to try ID and our pup is doing great and she really likes the kibble!
